Pubwex (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a social media content management platform that helps businesses create, schedule, and publish AI-generated posts across multiple platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using Pubwex, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

1. Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:

Account & Company Information

• Your name and email address when you register
• Company name, industry, country, and tone preferences you provide
• Sector profile data you generate within the app

Social Media Content

• Post content, captions, and hashtags you create or generate via AI
• Scheduling metadata (platform, date, time, post status)
• Image concepts and content notes you enter as prompts

Usage Data

• Pages visited and features used within the application
• Timestamps of actions such as post generation and saving
• Browser type, operating system, and general location (country-level)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely to operate and improve Pubwex. Specifically:

• Post generation: Your company details and notes are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate relevant social media content.
• Scheduling & storage: Generated posts and their metadata are stored in our database so you can manage, edit, and schedule them.
• Service delivery: Your email is used to communicate account-related updates such as security notices.
• Product improvement: Aggregated, anonymised usage patterns help us identify bugs and improve features. We do not sell or share individual data for this purpose.

We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with any party other than the sub-processors listed in Section 3.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a post or company within the application, it is permanently removed from our database. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at info@pubwex.com and we will process the request within 14 business days.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Pubwex uses browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your UI language preference and default post language setting. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you clear your browser's local storage, these preferences will reset to their defaults.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS for all data in transit, row-level security policies in our database, and API key rotation practices. However, no system is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to report any suspected security issues to info@pubwex.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of Pubwex after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users by email.
